Effects on your body of stopping smoking

Within 20 minutes of stopping smoking your blood pressure and pulse rate return to normal.

Effects on your body of stopping smoking

Within 8 hours of stopping smoking the nicotine and carbon monoxide levels in blood your blood reduce by half and oxygen levels return to normal.

Within 24 hours of stopping smoking carbon monoxide will be eliminated from your body. Your lungs start to clear out mucus and other smoking debris.
