Anxiety and stress management

- When should I get treatment for my stress?

Maybe you're wondering if you should seek help for your stress related problems. If you’ve been experiencing severe stress for a few weeks and have tried all the natural remedies around, you should think about seeking professional treatment. Prolonged tension can lead to other health issues and so it’s not something to ignore or treat lightly.

There are certain warning signs that tell you that your stress has reached the point where it could be harmful and requires treatment.

You notice a change in your appetite.  Maybe you begin to comfort eat and put on weight. Or instead perhaps you don't feel like eating as much and you lose weight.

When should I get treatment for my stress?

You’re feeling more tired than usual and you’re not sleeping well. You feel constantly drained.

When should I get treatment for my stress?

You have persistent headaches that just won’t go away or your muscles are aching.

When should I get treatment for my stress?

You start to drink more alcohol than you know you should.

In many cases, talking to someone about your problem and visiting a trained hypnotherapist or councillor who specialises in stress management can be very helpful.

Admitting that you have a problem and need help to deal with stress is a sign of strength rather than weakness. Asking for help it makes you quite normal as nowadays more and more people are receiving help for stress and anxiety disorders. There’s absolutely no need for you to suffer in silence.

You can learn to overcome stress - and with therapies such as hypnosis it might just be easier and quicker than you expect.
